Who we are:
We're a bunch of local runners who like to compete. We welcome and race along all levels from joggers to sub-elites and even elites.
It's a small world and our community is even smaller. Our goal is to connect with others in the community for the purpose of training, networking, or just sense of belonging and ownership of the city we live in. Along the way we compete in races and give back to the community inform of paying for your own race entry or volunteering your time at a race so we can pay it forward.
When does the racing team meet?
Many of our racing team members either already have a coach, are on a different training schedule or live far away. The missing piece to our racing team is a dedicated coach with the resources pull us together, which costs money and requires a significant time commitment. Our goal is to have a coach at some point, but for now let's work with each other and get together for runs when we can.
So how do we pull together outside of racing?
- Sunday morning runs - come join the social runners for an easy run and hang out afterwards to get to know each other and coordinate your own runs with other members.
- We call each other and go for runs.
- Get together for house parties once in a while
Where and when we race:
We have put together an outline of our race season below with a small discription and a links to more information.
Occasionally our running club is opproached for race team sponsorship. This usually involves 7 to 10 member team. We do not recruit, we offer the sponsorship to our fastest NBB member that commits to racing selected races. Currrently all our sponsored athlete openings are filled but when we do have an opening we will announce both on our social media and this website.
